This is a story of how I was BUTCHERED by Masha at Urban Bay Salon. Last Sunday I went in for a haircut. I had to wait 15 minutes no big deal. The salon is a half barbershop half salon. I get my hair washed everything is fine. I get in the chair and say that I want long layers. Well my fellow yelpers I did not get long layers. What I received was 2 layers, one that was shoulder length and one that was 3 inches below my shoulders. No blending nothing. And on top of it the girl was going back and forth cutting my hair and doing another girls color. Maybe she was rushing me and wasn't paying attention? Maybe she is an awful hairstylist? Maybe she needs glasses? I don't know. What I do know is that I will never go back, and will warn anyone who thinks about making a visit to urban bay salon. I

Great barber shop the staff is always friendly and they treat you like family. Barbers are versatile and cut your hair to perfection. Excellent customer service and the barbers cut all types of styles. I Highly recommended this place. They also give my kids amazing haircuts, where most places on the island take advantage as a quick money grab when it comes to children’s haircuts. Thank you guys keep up the great work.

Highly recommend! I have searched for years trying to find a great salon on Staten Island and I am so happy I finally found one! The employees are wonderful and attentive, the atmosphere is welcoming, and most importantly the haircuts are always on point! I typically go to Petrit, but all the barbers and hair dressers are very professional and everyone comes out looking great! Make this your go to salon!!!
