Uptown Hair Design

Our first experience was a kids cut for my son when he attended elementary school in Uptown. The salon was pretty new then. He’s now a senior in college. I started using the salon within a few of his haircuts and have been a loyal customer since. Jen is my go-to now that I have embraced my wavy. She’s like a good friend now. Woody was my original there and I’ve had great experience when I worked with Amanda. You can’t go wrong with the team Woody’s built here.

Oh my gosh. I absolutely recommend this salon. They are wonderful, so fun, hilarious and just awesome at what they do! I've had 2 "vibrant color" dye sessions with Jen, and she made my dream hair come true!!! I came in with just a crazy mess after trying to go from purple back to blonde. Jen was not only able to fix the crazy mess I had going on, but she did my hair better than I thought possible (we weren't sure we were going to be able to make it work with the color situation I had going on, but she did, and I got the most beautiful oil slick-esque dye)! Not to mention, she gave me like the best cut ever! I was a little terrified of the cut before she did the color, but when she did the final reveal, I was OBSESSED!!!! I will be returning for more awesomeness (:

Jen is always amazing! She understands the blessings and challenges of curly hair, and is always fun and personable. The salon has a friendly and warm atmosphere and I've never had a bad cut!

I have been getting my hair cut and colored there for several years. You need to make apps usually5-6 weeks in ADVANCE. Jen does a great job.

My partner is very happy with the haircut, shampoo, and style they received today from Katie! They struggled to take care of their long thick wavy hair and Katie came to the rescue to help educate us, recommend products, and help them with finding a length and style that would suit them best.
