John's Barber Shop

Disgusting, dirty and smells of cigarette smoke. All but certainly violates cleanness requirements for barber shops. Hair all over the floor of the shop. The ladies working had time to take turns smoking between every customer but didn't do the simple task of cleaning between each customer.

My husband came home with a hair cut that looks like nothing he went in with - and he just wanted it shorter. They didn’t cut the top of his hair at all, it’s all different lengths, and shaved the sides all the way up instead of faded like he had. He said they put the top in a ponytail and just shaved the sides. Like I could have done that. What a waste. And just before passport photos. I absolutely would have done a better job.

I like coming here for haircuts. Always relaxed and comfortable. IT is a simple get a haircut shop with family friendly people. I don't have a lot of hair so it is a simple process for me.

The prices have gone up since my first review 6 years ago, but the haircut and troup of ladies are still the same! Great cut, fair price, and a good dirty joke or two! The ladies at John's are great. You can spend $5 or $50 bucks on a haircut, but here you get a great cut, consistently, for under $20 (including a nice tip!).
