She has growing hands — my hair has never been healthier, or more manageable than it is under her care. Nickey is a master at her craft. First of all she knows how to cut and style layers that neatly frame the face and jawline. I live in nyc where I had a hard time finding anyone to competently pull this off. Nickey also knows how to cut bangs which is an art in itself. That can get tricky. So if you like bangs or want to try them go here. I go to Unique Styles every month for my gray roots. She does a flawless color match and preserves my highlights.. that’s also an art. She can do all styles and textures of hair. And no smelly harsh chemicals. Topping it all off, the prices are very reasonable and Nikki is delightful to visit and leave with just what you’re after. She also does glamour styling for special times. Highly recommended!!

I had the BEST hair experience at the salon. I genuinely felt that my hair was cared for with love & caution ( i have 4c hair). Time was taken when washing and detangling, and i had the BEST scalp scrub! The transformation of my hair was day and night! I’ve been coming to this salon since I was 11 years old. She has such a way with not only my hair, but all of her clients. She has such a passion for her craft and it shows in every interaction and appointment you have with her. She’s seen me through many phases of hair. Bobs, finger waves, bleached, shaved styles and awkward grow outs and she’s had me feeling beautiful and confident through all of them. If you haven’t come to see her yet, I don’t know what you’re waiting for.

I have been getting my hair done by Nickey for about 7 years now and has always had a wonderful experience.
