Unique Nail, by Sue

Sue has been doing my nails for a few years at this point and does a fantastic job any time. Not only a talented nail artist, but also a lovely person. I love my monthly chats with her as much as I love getting a mani. She is always up for trying the newest nail trend or design I find! She is also extremely reasonably priced with a full set of Arcylics around 75 and fills around 60. On the rare occasion of a break or issue, she’s is able to squeeze me in often. Definitely call to scheduled you appointments as she does work alone, but you will not regret it! Sue does a great job on my nails every time. I love her work!

Fantastic salon! Searching for a more "natural" looking gel nail and Sue did a fantastic job. Reasonable pricing for a regular pedi and set of gel nails. She's just a super nice person too. She is the owner and sole nail tech for her shop. Will be going back!

I don’t know who „Anna” is but I have never in my 15 years of knowing Sue had an experience like that and it’s hilarious reading her review. I had a good laugh! 😂 Her nails look like they are grown out two weeks and hard to believe she has an office job! Sue is the most professional, respectful, caring, and talented nail artist I have ever had. She is VERY clean. She cares about the health of my nails as well. I really enjoy getting my mani pedi at Sue’s, she is very progressional, super gentle and leaving the nails in awesome shape. My dip powder mani has lasted 1month+. She quickly responds to schedule an appointment with multiple available slots and gives a personalized service as she is the only person working there. I also enjoy my chats with her. 100% recommend getting your nails done with Sue!

This used to be my go to nail salon but the past few months my experience has not been good. My nails chip the next day, I’ve tried both gel and dip powder. This has happened multiple times and Sue has now told me to stop coming in to fix the chipped nails. I work a desk job so there is no reason my polish shouldn’t stay. I’m not sure if it is the products that the salon is using or something else. She will also stop working on your nails to work on someone else (frequently double books) or to answer the phone. She also frequently speaks on the phone while doing your nails. Her prices also keep going up but the service and quality of your nails goes down. There are much better options in West Hartford at a better price.
