Unique Beauty Salon on Steinway is fantastic! I went in for eyebrow threading for the first time and they did an amazing job. They shaped and tinted my brows, waxed & threaded my upper lip. The results were perfect. The atmosphere was calm and soothing, the staff was polite, and the prices were great. I’ll definitely be back! Thank you, ladies!

⚠️ Absolutely Horrible Waxing Experience – Please Read I’m writing this with a burned, swollen, and painful face. I went in for a full face wax — it was my second time at this salon. The first time left me with irritation, but I gave them another chance. I wish I hadn’t. The technician rushed through everything, jumping from one spot to another without care. When she got to my chin, the pain was intense. I told her, and she casually said it was “normal irritation.” I left quickly for work — only to have my manager take one look at me and send me home. That’s when I realized how bad it really was: my skin had been burned. The pain has been so bad I can barely sleep, and now I’ve had to take several days off work. Great group of ladies and a great experience. I (and others close to me) have seen a noticeable difference in my skin after getting monthly facials done here. They also do a wonderful job threading my brows and I love the hair oil head massages. Highly recommend.
