Julissa was amazing gentle and sweet… the space was clean and the staff (Emilie) was amazing.. definitely making the change from European wax to uniWax.

The wax turned out good, the lady was very thorough but the staff was not very warm or welcoming (which is important when the service is not only extremely painful but also personal/vulnerable). This was my first wax and I would have expected the waxer to say something as simple as 123 before starting/ asking if I’m ready but she didn’t. I would chalk it up to a language barrier but we were communicating in spanish anyway so it seems like this may not be apart of the training or expectations of the establishment.

Yesterday, I did a full body wax with Jalissa. She was very thorough and really made sure to get all the hair. Unfortunately, I did get a burn on my elbow because of the wax and it stings a little bit. Overall, it was a good experience and worth the money.

The best Uni K Wax location in my opinion. I’ve always lovely encounters with the receptionist and Jalissa is my go to in this location. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a great, clean wax spot in Queens.
