Uncle Doug's Barber Shop

20 years in the Military has taught me, nothing beats and good barber. A good barber shop is more than just getting a haircut. You walk in the door at Uncle Doug's and immediately know your home. Talking about local business or how life is treating you. You will leave feeling better that when you came.

While in town to be with family it was time for a cut. I like a traditional fade and to go short. I called a local friend who runs a salon asking if she could do the old school barber shop cut and she said it's not something she does, but that Uncle Doug would be the place to go. So, I went and found myself in what I'd describe as a traditional old small town barber shop complete with two barbers happy to chat about politics, the weather, and what's going on lately in town! I got a very good cut as requested at a fair price! If you need a barber, go see Uncle Doug!! I was out the door for $20 with tip included!

Good atmosphere, friendly, asked questions about what I wanted to do. Hair cut and beard trim for less than a normal hair cut. Would definitely recommend. Will be going back myself to this older fashion shop.

Who knew getting a haircut could be so entertaining! My Husband gets his haircut here and sometimes I tag along. Uncle Doug is like standup comedy and a great haircut wrapped into one! We always enjoy the FUN and humor here.

Pros: Really friendly atmosphere; not the "hipster" type of barbershop; small and secluded Cons: I didn't have Uncle Doug cut my hair, but the other guy who did gave me and my brother-in-law terrible cuts. Didn't fade the hair together and was left with big chunks of different lengths of hair on our heads. Honestly, it was the absolute worst haircut I ever recieved; shop was fairly messy
