The best braider I have been to in the Houston area. She was very genuine, kind, and a real professional. I received a wash and knotless braids. She did it under 5 hours and the parts are EXCEPTIONAL. I will definitely be going back and have already referred my friends. Thank you!

If I could give them more stars I would! I’ve gotten my hair braided here for years and I’ve been so happy with my hair every time.Even when I accidentally bring the wrong hair. They also have beautiful waist beads (mine glow in the dark) They are fast to respond if you call and can usually get you in that day if not the next. These ladies are quick braiders but they also play Nollywood movies which make the time pass even faster!

Ummiah & her daughter are talented hair stylists. Thank you Ummiah for being such a great hair stylist. My son and I always enjoy our appointment with you. I literally just read a review of someone saying Ummiah is unprofessional and yada yada…. And think it’s so unfair cause I’ve been getting my hair done from her for a year and she’s been nothing but professional, this woman is just bitter and is trying to make someone else’s life miserable like hers. U don’t have to be so rude u know. If you know her, you’d know Tuesdays are her off days. We love you Ummiah and you’ve than nothing but the best and ignore haters like her ❤️😍

Today was my second visit to Ummiah. They are now the ONLY place that I will ever go to for braids in Houston. I’ve been to several places all over the city and these ladies do the best job by far. I’m an attorney and it’s very important to me that my braids look professional—they listened to me and made sure that I was happy with their work. The ladies are efficient with their time. The salon is very clean and nice. Their services are reasonably priced. My first visit was a 5-star experience as well.
