January 31, 2026 I came into Ulta looking for a Lancôme concealer and had a really frustrating experience at first. There was a woman working the Chanel counter who kept asking me questions, but honestly it started to feel more annoying than helpful. When I asked about a specific Lancôme concealer, she told me it was out of stock. I mentioned that the Ulta app showed it was available for pickup, but she brushed it off and walked away without really listening to my concern. It was upsetting and made me feel dismissed. While looking for another associate to help me, I overheard a male associate helping a customer with foundation. He was explaining different products, comparing options, and clearly knew what he was talking about. He also sounded very friendly and patient, so I waited until h

I was very disappointed with the customer service I received from Mya, especially considering her role as an assistant manager. Leadership positions should set the tone for professionalism, respect, and quality service, but unfortunately, that was not reflected during my visit. The interaction felt dismissive and unwelcoming, and there was a lack of attentiveness and clear communication. In the beauty care industry, customer experience is just as important as the services provided, and this fell far below expectations. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and provides additional training, as assistant managers should lead by example and ensure every client feels valued and respected.

I’m extremely disappointed with my recent experience at this ULTA location, especially as a Diamond member who shops here often. I placed an order during an amazing Black Friday deal, and because I was traveling for work and worried about porch theft during the holidays, I chose in-store pickup. Unfortunately, I had a family emergency and couldn’t pick up the order by close of business. The next morning, my pickup barcode was still active, so I called the store to ask if I could still pick it up. The male employee on the phone asked for my name and order number — and right after giving that information, I immediately received an email that my order was canceled by the store. He then told me, very bluntly, that there was “nothing they could do” and that my items had already been put back.

I went into Ulta today because o wanted to receive my birthday points. I kept asking the cashier how to redeem them and she said put in my phone number. As she was cashing my stuff I realized that I was mistaken about some prices as with all deals the fine print is what catches you. Anyway we took some items off again and I said about my birthday points she did not respond. She is finished now with my purchases and I pay again asking about birthday points and she says ‘oh it’s your birthday’ smh I said it like five times she says I needed to activate and now I can’t use it on this purchase. If they were not people who had been waiting in the line I would have asked for my money back and leave the items I am really angry as I did not need to go into their establishment. I had a pretty disappointing experience at Ultra Store during my lunch break. As a busy social worker, I rarely get time to shop, and I was hoping for a quick, pleasant visit. Instead, the salesperson named Ashley was quite intrusive. She kept asking what I was looking for in a way that felt uncomfortable, and when I mentioned a perfume by name, she basically brushed me off and made it clear she wanted me to leave. It got even stranger when she tried to take a picture of my ID, which I definitely did not allow. Overall, it was really bad customer service and a very uncomfortable experience. I’ll definitely be telling my coworkers and friends not to go to this place.
