Ulta Beauty

I love going to Ulta, but this one by far was the worst experience I’ve ever had. They have several people working, but no one offered to help or even acknowledged any customers. One guy was busy chatting with his friends and it seemed to be norm around there. Then at checkout, four of them were talking and I stood there for a while and I had several of them look up at me waiting. When I was helped, it was like I was bothering them. It was just a bad experience all around and I will not be back to this location.

I haven't worn makeup in years, I went into Ulta and they were very helpful matching foundation and blush to my skin tone and staying on a budget without pushing me to buy more than I wanted.

I wish I remembered the woman's name that helped us, but she helped my daughter find her right foundation shade, and she was super friendly. Checkout staff was nice as well. Will return.

Pretty normal, workers are friendly. My only issue is bugging about the credit card— which I know is required of them, even though no one likes it. The poor workers are probably sick of asking it all day and I'm sick of hearing it. Corporate, free all of us of the annoying credit questions.

I had a terrible experience at Ulta Store #762 (Winston-Salem, Hanes Mall). I was the only customer of color in line, and when it was my turn to check out, the cashier (Isaac) closed his register and refused to assist me. When I asked for a manager, another employee (Hunter) falsely claimed to be one. The actual manager on duty (Malaysia) refused to come help, saying she was on lunch. The entire situation felt discriminatory, rude, and unprofessional. I left feeling humiliated and unwelcome. Ulta advertises diversity and inclusion, but this experience showed the exact opposite. Customers deserve to be treated with respect, no matter who they are.
