West End Barber and Shave

I was looking for a great local family barbershop in downtown Winston and man did I score. This place checked all the boxes. Jack was a super nice guy, fun to chat with, and gave a great cut. I can’t recommend this spot enough!

First time visiting here, it was a great experience, was able to walk in and had a very short wait. I am a woman with short hair and salons never seem to get it right so I wanted to try a barber shop. I was a little nervous since it's usually a men's scene, however I was treated respectfully and didn't feel out of place. My hair cut was exactly what I was looking for. Would recommend!

Carter is the best! I’ve been getting mine and my son’s hair cut by him for years and won’t go to anybody else. They’ve done an awesome job at remodeling the place and it’s a great experience all around.

Can’t recommend this place enough. The place is very clean and the staff is friendly. Carter cuts hair incredibly well! He’ll take the time to understand what look you are going for before grabbing the clippers. Beyond his expertise, he’s a chill and genuine dude. West End Barber and Shave is now my go-to spot for a haircut!

Moved up here in the past 6 months to find a new barber. I stumbled across West End. Best decision ever. Jack was my barber and he cut my hair perfectly. Super friendly and nice. As well with all the staff. Jack is extremely gifted and took care of me. I have nothing but nice things to say! I finally found my permanent shop and barber. Thank you all for the welcome! My recommendation is to just book that appointment!
