This location has Seriah (Hair Stylist) and Alexandra (Make-up Artist). They are both superior and extremely knowledgeable. Color corrector? Game changer. And my cut and color are T.

Alexandra helped color-match me today and I’m very happy with the products she recommended! Compared to every other Ulta I’ve visited, I’ve never had as good a customer service experience as I did with Alexandra. She was incredibly helpful and kind. Thank you!

I am giving this location one star because of the consistently unfriendly and tense atmosphere. The employees always seem unhappy and stressed. I purchased a hair serum because my hair has been falling out, and unfortunately I was advised to buy the wrong product. I returned it within 10 days, unused. The cashier was cold, irritated, and wouldn’t even look at me while refusing the return. I shop here regularly, so this experience was very disappointing. The Wethersfield Ulta feels very cold — there are no smiles, no warmth, no customer care. It honestly feels like walking into a refrigerator. I’m sorry to say that.

Honestly, I’ve been going to this Ulta for years because it’s the only store that sells my hair products but I’m just over the blatant racism at this store. For as long as I could remember they have had their employees watch me like a hawk and follow me around the store like I’m a thief. Today was the straw for me because I paid attention to how many workers worked there today, how many other shoppers there were, and how many of the staff “happened” to always be in my area. I even tried walking around to see if they were really going to be so obvious about it. Now that I have a baby, it really hit me just how disheartening it is, how shitty I feel, how crap it is to know people will demonize you just because of your skin. I went in today to buy some new perfumes, but I had noticed one of the employees seemingly getting berated by another employee who seemed to be some kind of higher up manager of some sort. I’ve noticed other people in the reviews mentioning the same thing, how some sort of manager here seems to have a pattern of using poor language not just to customers but to their own employees as well. This kind of behavior reflects very poorly on the management in this store, which is a shame because the front employees all seem very accommodating. This just makes the whole environment very uncomfortable, this is the first time I’ve been compelled to write a review because this kind of issue should not be as common as it is for one store alone.
