Absolutely incredible experience shopping at this Ulta!!! All the associates were readily available to help - once I was done browsing and ready to ask for assistance Sarah jumped right in! It’s been probably close to 8 years since I’ve consistently worn makeup, I’ve worked from home, I don’t keep up with makeup trends and I honestly just fell out of love with it. Yesterday, 9/5/24 I visited Ulta in VOA, and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired and was very flat . Upon entering the store, I immediately sensed a lack of engagement from the staff. Despite the fact that there were very few customers present (2 including myself), I was met with indifference rather than a warm welcome. It felt as though my presence as a customer was more of an inconvenience than an opportunity to provide service. As I wandered the aisles trying to locate a specific product, I found myself growing increasingly frustrated. I really appreciate Hayley. She was so helpful!!! As far as checking out, whoever checks me out at first could’ve used a little bit of better customer service skills but then when she called somebody to correct my sale price I don’t know her name, but she was wonderful as well. I will be back.

Adding on to my last review: I just have to give another huge shoutout to Tabitha at Ulta. She gave me a curl cut recently and somehow pulled off the impossible—kept my length *and* gave me real volume. If you have curls, you know that’s basically wizard-level work. I’ve gone to her a few times now, and she just keeps getting better every visit. On top of being amazing at what she does, she’s also just genuinely fun to be around. She’s easy to talk to, super down-to-earth, and absolutely wonderful with kids. She cuts my 6-year-old daughter’s hair too, and my daughter LOVES her (like, asks when we can go back).
