If you are in State College, PA and need any kind of help with makeup, I can strongly recommend Michaela Miller, Sales Manager at Ulta Beauty store # 689. She was able to locate the ideal setting spray for upcoming events and even got staff confirmation on this as top choice!

Great selection of products to view in person, good size store and they do a pretty good job at the hair salon. Many of the store clerks are not helpful or knowledgeable regarding the products or their whereabouts. Especially when it gets slightly busy they all act like they are too good to help! Go online to read about the products and find the coupons and how to use them. Because the store people DO NOT WANT TO HELP WITH COUPONS OR DEALS. They just want to check you out as quickly as possible.

Everyone besides the front desk girl was great! When I was checking out, she had a very ugly attitude towards me. I don’t know if she was having a bad day or if that’s just her unfortunate personality, but either way, definitely seemed like she had a stick up in her! I feel horrible for the other girls that have to be around that negative demeanor, doesn’t seem like any of them were happy to be around her.

If you want a great priced balayage and an amazing result, definitely check out Ulta's salon! I personally had Ashley Musser, who is AMAZING. She is the sweetest person, and not only did she do a great job, but she put up with me for 3.5 hours (when its supposed to be around 2.5) PLUS stayed after closing for me. I previously went to Looks Hair Design for a haircut and thought about getting my hair dyed there too, but decided to come here because it is almost half the price, and I cannot say enough how happy I am that I did! I will definitely come back to Ashley for all my hair needs, but everyone here was super friendly and I would definitely trust with my hair.

I have been visiting the salon at Ulta Beauty for many years. The entire staff is kind, professional and fun to be around. Maddy Beard is my stylist. She goes above and beyond every single time. I never leave the salon dissatisfied. I get endless compliments on my hair from strangers. I bring my daughter here as well. We adore Maddy! She deserves ten stars instead of five
