My 5 star review is for the employee Destiny K. She was friendly, courteous, and unlike most of the employees I have experienced at the Porterville store. I told her so and the woman in line behind me was in agreement with my usual experience of unfriendly and inattentive help. Great job Destiny !

Worst customer service ever, I had a haircut appointment at 12:15pm and I was late for 5 min. The hairstylist told me that she had to move the appointment to 3:30pm just because I was late and after me she have another appointment so she don't have time. I told her that I understand that I was late for 5min but I just need a straight haircut and no wash or style need it. She said actually there's a 3 min grace time and you're late so I don't time (the salon was empty no clients). I went to the front to ask for a manager because that 3 min grace period sounds ridiculous. The salon manager was rude she never apologies for the inconvenience and she affirm that is a 3 min grace period. I'll be never come back to this location again. I would give it a 0 star if it was an option! Was waiting in curbside pick up & they came out & went back in with my order. I went inside store to pick it up & worker was very rude!

Why are the hair salon ladies so rude here? I came in for an appointment and they were so rude to me as if they didn’t want to do my hair? I won’t be returning. If your unhappy and treat customers horrible you shouldn’t even be working there smh

I just want to say couple of things about my experience at Ulta in Porterville. My first time getting a haircut and it’s not the haircut I wanted. (Not even close). Second, there were an extra charge of $21 that I never ask for. That $21 is supposedly a fee for blow drying my hair and styling it. See, I never ask for it, nor add it on when I made the appointment. The only appointment I made on-line is a haircut which is $47. Nothing more. I didn’t bother going back and complain about it because it was already done. I thought I’d just write review. But I will never go back though. That’d be my first and last. That’s for sure.
