My review is regarding Brittany. I just came today for a blowout to go to an event later today. Instead of a blowout all I got was a blow dry that’s it. I booked for an hr long service and she only took 30 mins to complete a basic service which I could have done at home.

I normally do not leave reviews or submit complaints, as most of my experiences are uneventful or resolved without issue. However, I feel compelled to share this feedback because this is not an isolated incident. Every time I visit the Ulta Beauty location in Plano off Central Expressway, I experience issues with returns, exchanges, or purchases. This location, specifically, consistently presents challenges, while other Ulta locations do not. It has reached a point where completing transactions that should be straightforward under Ulta’s return policy feels unnecessarily difficult. This customer care has dropped here. I needed things for my child and I Halloween outfits. I entered the stores and shortly after, the person that seems to always help me disgruntedly proved my gut feeling about her that she rather not help me if she had a choice. Her help is always rushed as well. Great options I give her that. I decided to look more on my own. I found another option but had to ask the African American woman for testers for liquid eye shimmer to be opened since the ones I thought might be what I needed were so dry. She stepped away for a while just to put “tester” stickers on. Should you not have those stickers handy already? don’t spend a DIME of your money here or a SECOND of your time. terrible workers and customer service first i asked for a concealer they didn’t have it ok. went to go look in the back lady comes out w a TERRIBLE attitude like somehow its my fault that they didn’t have it…? then this older black lady approached me trying to “help” me instead of helping she just pointed into a general area of where wha i was looking for would be at again TERRIBLE ATTITUDES!!! something must be done whoever was on the clock at 12 all yall need to be talked to cus oh boo. and then to end it i waited in line for TEN MINUTES employees walking past seeing me waiting and didn’t say a dang thing. can promise you this place won’t see a $$ from me or anyone around me again .

(Guest services review after) I came in for a consultation and asked if it was possible to go full blonde, knowing full well it might not be possible because of existing highlights and red in my hair. She told me yes, but not platinum and I booked a color correction. I said, and we both very much agreed, that my hair health was more important than being blonde. I wanted my hair to be one color (or at least close to it). I should’ve known something was up when she started highlighting, but I “trusted the process” SHE PUT BLEACH ON ALREADY LEVEL 9 BLONDE HIGHLIGHTS AND MELTED MY HAIR OFF.
