Terrible experience at this Ulta Beauty location. I waited over 20 minutes just to find someone to unlock the perfume display and assist me. Every time I asked, I was told the regular size wasn’t available and only the small bottle was in stock. And then back to waiting for another lady. When I finally went to pay, the printer was “having issues,” and I waited another while. This was a gift and I was on a time constraint. They said they would call the manager, but after waiting another 10 minutes, I was told she was “probably on break.” Unbelievable. Very poor customer service, clearly understaffed, and no respect for customers’ time. If you want to waste your time, this is the place to go.

I booked a haircut at the Ulta store 1/23 and my stylist was Aaliyah. I asked for a bob, with the shortest length matching my layers, and I was open to how short it needed to be. During the appointment, I noticed one side was being cut more than the other, but since my hair was styled at the end, the cut looked fine at the time. Over the next few days I kept questioning it, and after straightening my hair on 1/26, it was clear the cut is uneven. Communication during the appointment was minimal with her. While I did receive compliments when it was styled, the unevenness is noticeable when worn straight, which is disappointing.

The staff were super helpful, but the store is a disaster. The perfume smell when you walk in is intense; I got an instant headache. And when I was attempting to pay, the register broke down and I had to wait for them to start up a different one.

I wanted to share my experience regarding a recent appointment with Maritza, a senior bar stylist. Unfortunately, I received a very disappointing haircut. I had asked for layers and facial framing, but instead I was given only two uneven layers that looked unfinished and unbalanced. I was shocked, especially considering Maritza’s senior experience level. The result was so poor that I had to book with another stylist, who was equally in disbelief at the quality of the cut. To fix it, I had no choice but to cut my hair much shorter than I originally wanted. I’ve attached a photo for reference. I truly don’t understand how this could have been considered acceptable work

ULTA IN PINOLE IS THE BEST ULTA AROUND TOWN!! ITS AGREAT LOCATION WITH OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE AND AMAZING EMPLOYEES. THE STORE IS ALWAYS CLEAN AND THEY ARE VERY VERY INNOVATING I WOULD HAVE TO CONGRATULATE MANAGEMENT FOR SUCH AN EXCELLENT STORE. THERE ARE ALWAYS SO MANY EMPLOYEES ON THE FLOOR ALWAYS HAPPY TO HELP YOU.
