Long and overdue review for Melissa. Walked in here last summer to get my hair dyed and trim before my trip to Spain. To my surprise she is the same lady who had been helping me from the other salon too. I like how Melissa continues to assist my hair with care and skills. She even gave me few tips on how take care of my hair and not use the regural Walgreen hair dye because it could ruin my long healthy black hair. Coming back again here today to get my yearly hair trim. Now I will always look for her and book her for my appointment. Thanks Melissa for taking care of my hair.

I followed the stylist Argentina here from Berkeley! My second time with her for a trim, and the vibes are high! She did a lovely job with my hair and chatted me up with adventure tales past and present. I will be returning to her again for sure. My first time at Whole Nine Yards -- it's pretty beautiful inside, spacious and cool with lots of plants and smiles. I felt like I was on vacation already. : )

I was headed out of town and needed a fast trim, and my friend suggested her stylists at Whole nine yards. It was after 6pm and the door was locked, i called the shop and Ruby answered and asked what i needed, so she came back to the shop after hours to help me out. Excellent customer service that you often rarely see these days.

This review is specifically for Charming. I took my mother to get her hair cut by Charming, and she was incredibly impatient and judgmental. My mother is in her 80s. She uses walking aids, and she moves slowly. SHE DOES NOT LIKE ME TO ASSIST HER, and often yells at me when I try to help. When it took my mother longer than a regular person to have a seat in the salon chair, Charming, clearly losing her patience, angrily admonished "Your daughter should be helping you!" I waited in the car while my mother got her hair cut. Instead of calmly letting me know that my mother's haircut was finished, Charming knocked on my car window, threw her hands in the air, and angrily exclaimed that I needed to help my mother. Charming, I don't need your judgement. As I said, my mother does NOT like me to h
