I love Ulta and Iv always had wonderful service. I went in 11/26/25 and had Sabah checking me out. I had to return 2 things from an online purchase. I did not know i needed to return the small free gift (literally one of the promos spend 25 or more get 3 free mini samples) she did not greet me as I walked up and she was super rude! I asked her if that was a regular thing because Iv never had to do it before. She barked at me how that was company policy. I looked up the policy later and it’s at the cashiers discretion so people done abuse free gifts. We are talking about 3 mini samples… a small mini perfume a hair sample and a skin sample…. I could understand if it was a robe or something. I asked if I could speak to a manager she just stared at me and kept repeating they can’t help you it’

Popped into Ulta to see what’s new. What I found: Rihanna’s Fenty now offers skin/body products for bath/shower. Cécred, Beyoncé’s hair line, now offers products for wigs. And Amika, a hair brand launched in 2007, is now carried by Ulta.

Went in for a pickup for my wife who is disabled. Girl at counter asked if I was authorized to pick it up. I said my wife ordered it, I'm her husband and gave her my name and photo ID and told her my wife's first and last name (same last name as mine). She looked briefly at the item and said sorry they are really picky about who picks it up and if you are not authorized you can't get it. She'll have to come in. I go out to the car. My wife said we were both authorized to pick it up. I tell her what the girl told me. It is 25 degrees and drag out the transport chair, get my wife out and in it along with her oxygen tank and go back to the counter with my wife in the transport chair. Same girl comes over. My gosh! I always have a good experience in this store. Today was a particularly wonderful experience! Jacob helped me with my 70-something make-up refresh. I wound up purchasing almost $300 in merch…willingly! Best products ever! Dear Ulta Management Mechanicsburg, PA. Please let Jacob work with us in the makeup section! Jacob is a people person and has a natural talent, incredible “gift,” for color and product—customized! I found Jacob answered all my questions, mitigated my concerns, and provided me with a variety of product choices, updated colors, and application tips, with an impressive in-depth knowledge and understanding of each product, Jacob also helped me with up-to-date application techniques.
