Love the salon at Ulta. My stylists Riggs and Nyah are amazing. I wear a silk press on my natural hair. I’m never disappointed. My hair is always smooth with soft curls. Constantly receive compliments.

I am SO thrilled with this Ulta. I had an issue with the location near Westfarms that really turned me off. However, this location handled my return with such ease, kindness, and professionalism. They reassured me that the experience I had in West Hartford was totally wrong and inconsistent with the brand policies. Monique and Rihanna were AMAZING!!!!

HIGHWAY ROBBERY. i have curly hair and surprisingly the lady did my hair pretty well. she did get too close to my face with the straightener a few times, but anyways she mentioned that i had dead and split ends and offered to trim them for me. i get to the register and i was charged an additional $67 on top of the $115 for the silk press. i asked what is the $67 for? they were like for the haircut. she barely took anything off of my hair. it was just a small trim. they said “a haircut is a haircut” we don’t do trims. if i would have known the price was going to be $181, i would’ve went to a luxury salon. if i would’ve known the haircut was $67 i would’ve gotten a bob for that price lol. never getting my hair done here again.

I’ve only written one other bad review before… I went to a breakfast place and there was a screw in my scrambled eggs. The haircut I got here was about as bad as a screw in my scrambled eggs. Had to pay 100$ to get it fixed somewhere else and it still doesn’t look right. The hair dresser (a younger girl) cut random chunks out of my hair, so short I was almost bald in some spots, while leaving the other pieces untouched. Whole thing took about three minutes. She charged me sixty bucks. I think I could have gotten a better haircut from a toddler. I understand learning a new craft is hard, but I think I should have been told that the girl was new.

Terrible experience at this Ulta, I was followed and racially profiled by Jacqueline (Jackie). I understand Loss Prevention so I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt, however over the hour I was in the store she followed me from aisle to aisle pretending to fix things on the shelves or at some points blatantly staring at me. When I recognized I was being racially profiled, I asked her a customer service question which she couldn't even answer then ran off... only to start following me again less than 5 minutes later. Not once did she (or any other employee) offer assistance or even a basket though I was holding multiple items in my hands. Other customers (who did not look like me) were greeted and provided baskets. At one point a family next to me was offered assistance then the same
