I am a long-time salon guest at the Ulta Beauty Salon in Evans, GA, and am sharing this experience in hopes it helps improve clarity and consistency for future guests. I booked a Signature Haircut through the Ulta app, where the Keratin Express Treatment was presented as an optional add-on. The service description indicated it could be added to any hair service, with no mention of a color-service requirement. After researching the treatment and confirming it was appropriate for smoothing frizz and curls, I added it to my appointment and scheduled the visit specifically to use my $25 Diamond Beauty Bonus. This afternoon at a couple of minutes after 4 pm, the cashier in the front, I really wish I’d gotten her name was complaining about she’s not going to stay any longer on the phone to someone and left the lady before me, mid transaction to say she wasn’t staying and someone needs to open a register. Jayce came up and offered the lady behind me service, and the girl who was trying to leave looked at me rudely and told her I was next and then proceeded to chastise me telling me, the line starts back there. I’ve worked in the service industry for years and she needs to find another job if she can’t bare to stay a little past her shift time. Things happen. Jayce was extremely nice however and gave great service.

I typically don’t have any issues when I come here. But I purchased two of the fenty vanilla sets today as gifts along with some other stuff. One for a friend and another for my mother. My mom decided to open hers today when we left and we were just not impressed with the throw of the scent. It’s barely there for all the items in the set! And for the price, I decided to return the sets - same day mind you. The girl at the register was really weird about it. I had my receipt. I had been there hours prior - per the receipt. Everything was in its original packaging. I don’t know what the issue was but I repeatedly told her that one set was still unopened and that all my mom did was lift up the tabs off her set to sniff all 3 items. Disappointed by this Ulta… came in here back in November and the light above the ordinary products was flickering like crazy, so much so I couldn’t even shop. Just came back today January 17th and the light is STILL so bad, couldn’t shop again it was so terrible. Only giving 2 stars because the kind lady that helped me gave amazing recommendations.

This morning, I placed an online order for pickup. Knowing it's the holidays, I just knew deep down in my heart that the order was going to take a while. Imagine my surprise when three hours later, the store was closed due to network issues. I feel like it's false advertising to state that you're open online, when you aren't. There is a way to state that you're closed online (like you did after the hurricane), so why let people make purchases and spend hundreds (or more) before the holidays and not be able to pick up what they've paid for? Yes, I know that it's "pending" until it's picked up, but come on! This is ridiculous and if I'd been treated like a customer instead of a hassle, I wouldn't even be making this review.
