I love shopping with Ulta and have shopped there for years in MD, NY, VA and more but I was very disappointed by this location. I went in to the the store 1/8/2026 browsing in-person after a costco visit and saw that several of the products were clearly expired and looked discolored. I called and spoke to the manager on-duty about this issue 1/16 and they said that it may be because certain products may not be as popular and certain ingredients. I wanted to post so all can see clearly that some of the products are labeled as being expired 01/2025 and 03/2025 - which at this time are over a year ago or about to be. I assume this store doesn't audit the products or notice this things like this? This is frustrating as it made me want to leave the store without makeup products and only shop o

Placed an order online for pickup on 2/20/26, and when I opened the box to use the following day, the eyeshadow stick was replaced with the empty tester. Please, just as the employee check returns to see if they have been used, please ask the employees to check and make sure the item the customer is purchasing is in the box before assembling their online order.

5 stars for product variety but would give 0 stars if I could for service. I encountered at least 6 different employees and only 1 offered any assistance or spoke to me at all. However, I was most disappointed in checkout. I am probably not their usual demographic which is extremely frustrating as an older client. When I entered the line there were 3 ladies checking customers out. 2 of them finished, continued to chat with each other, and then walked away without ever acknowledging me as I waited in line. Unfortunately the lady checking out with the solo clerk at the counter had issues so I continued to wait. Both other clerks briefly returned, and 1 of them stayed. Again, no acknowledgement by either of them. The young lady who stayed was doing something at the register but never offered

They have "Tae" in the store. This lady is respectful, friendly, and knowledgeable. She doesn't just give the customer a fake smile. She understands the customer and gives/offers excellent suggestions. The part that impressed me most was that she remembered me. Since I don't have social media, I ask makeup experts a lot of questions. I was asking a question again, and she remembered me from my smile. Her boss is very lucky to have her :)

Rude and incompetent. I knew the return policy better than the worker did I guess I work at Ulta now. Followed by four different employees in the store, but no one else seemed to be watched like I was. Had the pleasure of hearing one of the male white employees say he would never go to Africa ewww. I’ll stick to the other locations.
