The Salt Sanctuary of Maryland

This was my first time for Salt therapy and I enjoyed it. I booked an appointment on their website easily! Make sure to note the times for the days and times to reflect the service you want when choosing on the reservation calendar as they do have other services such as acupuncture, yoga (with and without salt therapy, massage, etc. The location is on the back, lower part of the retail strip and was easy to find. La and Rachela are so friendly. I love their energy! You do have to take off your shoes and you are given booties to wear inside the salt room. The chairs recline and each person is provided a blanket in case you want to cozy up. The temperature of the room was perfect to me so I didn't need to use it. This was my 1st time at the Salt Sanctuary of Maryland. It exceeded my expectation. We celebrated my best friend's birthday by just relaxing and rejuvenating ourselves in the Salt Room. It was so peaceful! The space was calm and inviting, and the staff was helpful. La Stone, the owner, is awesome and is a pleasure to talk to. She has such a sweet spirit and makes you feel welcome! I can't wait to go back again next weekend!

I absolutely loved my community yoga session at the sanctuary yesterday! It was led by the owner, who was friendly, kind and welcoming. The class lasted one hour and started with about 20 min of breathwork with the remaining portion consisting of yin poses. The session left me mentally clear, and calm in my body. What a rejuvenating experience. I was visiting for the holidays, but I will definitely be back when I’m in town next.
