Well, I knew I shouldn’t have come in the store because the customer experience is always so RANCID, but against my better judgment I did, so let’s jump in... I went in with a friend to do some shopping since we both had gift cards from Christmas. At this point in my previous West Ashley Ulta experience, I understand that I’m going to be watched and followed around as if I were a criminal (they do not even try to be discreet about it) but as we were looking for some nail polish, I go to test it out on my nail and an employee pops into the isle with “JUST SO YOU KNOW, you can put anything you test out to the side because we have to damage it out” with a hostile tone. My daughter requested peekaboo color, not highlights. The below pictures were taken upon her return home from the salon. I believe the services were rushed because of the snow storm approaching as well as the staff member being new to the service rendered. She asked lots of questions to fellow coworkers and watched videos for assistance per my husband. My daughter went with her father therefore he didn’t know what to expect but he did catch that the stylist may have been new or in training. As you can see in the image below what was scheduled and the outcome. Instead of a blow out, her hair was blow dried semi straight. Olaplex add on??? Nonexistent! Hair washed???? Huge shout out to Rose! I came into the store with notes in hand expecting to walk around finding what I needed. Rose, however, offered assistance and stayed with me through my whole shopping experience. I appreciate her kindness and expertise.

Showed up for an appointment for the salon. When checking in I notice a text for it being canceled being sent 3 minutes before checking in, less than 15 minutes before the appointment. They stated they have called me, zero miss cals and she corrected herself and said someone in the back was going to make a call. They were not apologetic and offered no accommodation for future scheduling.

Went in to buy items for my daughter’s Easter Basket. Only thing I had was pictures (and they were screen shots from a video). Thank goodness for Rose. In less than five minutes, she had scooped up all six items on my list. Wonderful shopping experience!!
