I had such a wonderful experience at the Bend Ulta thanks to Norman, the senior artist. He listens so well, has an incredible eye and immediately understood what would work for my skin tone and what I was actually looking for. His recommendations were spot on. The ILIA foundation stick and Bobbi Brown cream blush he helped me choose look amazing and feel effortless to wear. Beyond his talent, Norman is debonair, kind, informative and thoughtful. It was clear that the other artists in the store adore him, and the energy around him was warm and collaborative. He made the experience feel relaxed, personal, and confidence-boosting rather than overwhelming. I had an outstanding experience yesterday in the Ulta in Bend, Oregon. Although, as usual, it took quite a while to get assistance, when the manager(?) called out Mallory to help me, my troubles were over! I’d had a hard fall on a sidewalk 10 days ago, and the dark bruising still all over my face is horrible. I was feeling pretty deflated since the doctor told me it was going to take weeks or months for my face to return to normal. Then Mallory absolutely came to my rescue with her knowledge, skill, and kindness. She chose 3 products and showed me how to apply them so that my bruises are covered and I can again function in the world without looking like I lost a fistfight. Thank you to Mallory. You are a game-changer!

I had to make a return today at the Bend. Or, Ulta. I HATE this store, most of the employees are so rude. My original purchase was in Redmond OR (20 min away because I dislike this store) but today I went into the Bend store to return a mistake I made in hair conditioner. When I walked in, IZZY was so sweet. She greeted everyone and was so kind and helpful to everyone. I was shocked! This was a first for me in this store! When it was my turn to check out, she was so kind and friendly, so I told her, she was the best person I have ever delt with in the store, and this gem started crying (does that tell ya how sweet she is!). She was so appreciative and so freaking sweet. She just needed to be reminded! Keep up the amazing work IZZY! YOU ARE APPRECIATED!
