Ulta Beauty

I don’t think I’ve ever been to a “bad” Ulta, but this location is particularly outstanding. Yesterday I went in for some Naturium lip balm and two employees in particular were super helpful in recommending specific lip colors and other Naturium products that they had experience with. Basically every employee I interacted with was great.

The associates at this store aren’t worried about the business. They’re more worried about talking to each other. I walked in the store at 10:38 a.m. I asked the blonde cashier at the very first register near the entrance door to point me in the direction of a product. She said somewhere in the middle of the store ( I’m pretty sure this wasn’t the correct area because I saw nothing from that brand in the middle of the store). The order I had was for well over $200. I guess Ulta Beauty makes soo much money they don’t care about $200

So today I had a horrible experience shopping. I went in to try new makeup to update my makeup routine. I was followed and watched by the manager on duty the WHOLE TIME I SHOPPED. I actually felt so uncomfortable, that I said something to her, in which she replied “I’m just doing my job”. I felt extremely uncomfortable, and angry to think that I could not even shop in peace. Every 2 seconds someone would ask me if I needed help. We led me to believe that maybe the manager told the associates to keep an eye on me. I’ve never had this happen to me before, as I spend HUNDREDS of dollars shopping there. Sadly I won’t return, and will just order online.

I went in and got the most amazing sales person ever to help me select some foundation. It was fun to chat with him, and I’ll definitely be back when I select which one I want. I asked him his name and it was one. I never heard before and wasn’t even gonna try to spell, but he said that it was Romanian.

Great selection. Great service. Arslyn was absolutely wonderful with being patient and able to assist a picky shopper! :) Shout out to Sara for coming out of her own pocket to make sure customers have a “welcome gift” with an approval of a credit card. Extremely thoughtful! Will 100% be returning very soon! Thank you girls for your assistance!
