Lyra Salon

lyra salon is a gorgeous open space filled with natural light that makes for happy people and plants! i love the natural brick, the full length mirrors, and the simplicity of the aesthetic. the chairs are so cozy and the chairs for washing have foot recliners. i felt so pampered in my experience here. if you need tea and cookies or a glass of water, lyra salon has your back. all the stylists seem so cheerful and shelby at the front desk is always sweet as pie! i was astonished to see all the gorgeous cuts and styles happening as i sat under the dryer. i felt seriously accomplished in life, like dang—i am literally getting my hair cut at the best salon in town! i am SO happy my brilliant and wonderfully talented haircare specialist moved to this amazing new salon! what an upgrade for her! n

The team at Lyra is top notch. Michelle is an amazing hair stylist that specializes in curly hair and color. She always does an amazing job. I even booked her for my wedding hair and makeup. She definitely listens and gives great recommendations to help elevate my do for the seasons.

Stephanie has been cutting my hair for many years, and does a great job! She’s also offered tips on hair care and beard grooming that I’ve greatly appreciated. But as much as I appreciate a great haircut, I also enjoy the experience. Stephanie is always friendly, engaging, and creates a comfortable atmosphere. I always enjoy our conversations, and my time in the chair is always a welcome escape from the everyday world. I’ve had the opportunity to observe as Stephanie and Angela have set up their new salon, Lyra. They’ve worked hard to realize their vision, and have created a great place with a welcoming vibe, and great people. I heartily recommend Stephanie and Angela, and Lyra Salon!

Lyra salon is such a great addition to Ann Arbor! Upon entering this modern, stylish and relaxing salon, i was immediately impressed with the kindness of all employees and beautiful aesthetic of the salon. I had a highlight, haircut and style with Stephanie, who listened to my vision, looked through inspo pictures, and also took into account my home hair care routine to determine style needs at home. She made wonderful recommendations based on my requests, and made my hair vision come to life. Her level of skill and attention to detail is amazing, and I would recommend her to anyone looking for a wonderful stylist that will take care of you and your hair! honestly - make an appointment at Lyra, and with Stephanie!

Kenta at Lyra Salon is absolutely wonderful. He is incredibly talented, detail-oriented, and truly cares about his clients.
