He is so meticulous and skilled, clearly knows what he’s doing vs other barbers who are clearly lost when clippers are out of the equation. My hair has awesome layers now and I’m super happy with it.

Easily the worst haircuts my kids have ever received and somehow took 45 minutes on each one. The barber was nice but his work is inexcusable, he has no business cutting hair. My wife took the kids in while I was busy, if I had been there everyone in that place would have gotten an earful on these jacked up cuts. Definitely not worth the hassle of using that horrible booksy app thing either.

I needed a new barber closer to home. I was going to slick and dapper in Oakland for years before the pandemic but stopped shortly after. I found Tyler's barber shop on Google and decided to give them a shot. I have Asian hair and I needed a barber who could work with it. I scheduled Vincent for the first and have been back two other times. Vincent is fantastic. He's definitely experienced and well versed in his craft. He's also friendly, welcoming, and makes the experience so much less choresome. My girlfriend has been very impressed with the cuts Vincent gave me. Vincent is truly an awesome barber who knows how to be personable and professional altogether. He takes the time to make sure he understands what type of haircut and style you're looking for, and then executes it with great precision. Vincent's attention to detail supercedes my previous barbers, and I am grateful to have come across his shop. Pricing is perfect, and the atmosphere is very chill and relaxing with plenty of seating, soft drinks on the house, and a cool little dog to hang with while you wait. I highly recommend this spot, definitely 10/10.
