Turnpike Barber Shop

I recently visited Turnpike Barber Shop and had an excellent experience! The haircut was fantastic and at a great price. It’s a cash-only place, which adds to its charm. The barbers are genuine people who engage in great conversation and spirited debate, making the visit enjoyable. We even talked about the classic film Nanook of the North, which was fascinating. I got my haircut before a wedding, and it looks amazing. Highly recommend!

Decent cut but you get what you pay for. Most barbers can cut hair and talk at the same time, not these ones. Not very hygienic, clean, or timely.

This would be my second cut at this establishment. The shop is Veteran owned and operated, head Barber is really good. Great conversation, atmosphere, and service. You can call ahead, which I recommend. They take walk-ins, yet the likelihood there will be an opening is slim.

In a hurry? Go anywhere else. Had my hair cut here once, took forever because the guy cutting my hair was too fascinated by the TV and hearing himself talk. Decided to try again since it's located close to work. Walked in, 1 guy in the chair, 2 waiting - I said: "Hey, I see you're busy, I'll come back another time" -- same guy just turns his head and grunts. Real bucket of sunshine. The first haircut I got was just OK anyway.

Terrible hair service, I have batches of hair spots on my head. The clippers we very dirty, as the employee took them out the drawer hair continues to fall out. There was hair all over the place. Worker seems to get very distracted by the tv, environment, etc. Continuing to ask personal and private question. Highly over priced. Don't go there!!
