Artistic Hair Salon

i LOVE this salon. I came to this salon from a busy "higher end" salon and I love this place. It's nice to go somewhere and feel like you're taken care of and not just a client/appointment. I hate all the gossip of big salons, and how impersonal they are. I see Jessica and she always takes her time to make sure my color and cut will work for me not only in the salon, but at home when I am styling my hair myself !! I brought my mom in and she said she's in love too! The other stylists I've met are extremely kind and helpful and even take the time to give me tips and tricks while I'm in the salon. Bottom line: great stylists, affordable prices, comfortable environment.

I found Artistic Hair on the internet about a year ago because the stylist I had and really liked moved away. My hair is very thick which makes it necessary to use a razor to cut the layers properly. Not many stylists I have found do this. Leah not only gave me a great cut but shared her expertise about my hair, products and cuts that would and wouldn't work on my hair. And she does so without trying to hard sell me lots of products. I have watched the other stylists, too, and they seem to be very competent and professional with cut and color as well. Everyone is nice, it is a low pressure, relaxing atmosphere and every head I have seen walking out of the salon looks great. Thanks for caring so much about your work, ladies. You do a great job!

I have been going to this salon for years. Leah is fantastic and is always taking advantage of new learning opportunities to keep up with the latest and greatest styling and color techniques. Christa is also great and creates beautiful colors. Check these talented ladies out. You will not be sorry!!!

AGREED: DONT USE JESSICA HILL!!! My girlfriends & I used to go to this salon often for updos. We all have nothing bad to say about the owner & other employees. But we all had the same/similar experience with a Jessica Hill. Do not use her. Very unprofessional & makes you feel very uncomfortable. Waste of money & time if she does your hair. Trust us you'll be disappointed. We all agreed that she made the experience there terrible. So bad that we had to seek out a new salon. If the owner responds that she's gone then we will be back. If not, please take our advice before you waste your money.

I very recently moved out of the central Connecticut area into Windsor locks. I have had the same hair stylist cut my hair for the past 20 years and was VERY nervous about having a new stylist cut my hair. I found Artistic Hair Salon and saw a stylist named Jessica. She was very nice and took the time to know how I wanted my hair to be cut and made me feel very comfortable! I had a great experience and will have no problem going back!
