After struggling to find a reliable haircut in NYC for years, I came across Trumans and have been a regular client for over a year now. The entire team is friendly & accommodating, and their online booking system is great. It’s easy to navigate and will send you email and text reminders so you don’t miss your appointment. I’ve worked with Eleni as my stylist and not only is she amazing at what she does, but she’s an absolute pleasure to be around. She’s helped me find a style that works and I’ve always been happy with the result. Before working with Eleni, I also had my hair cut by other stylists at Trumans - it’s always been a good experience and I’ve never left unsatisfied. While the price point might be a little higher than your typical NYC barbershop - the service is fantastic.

I started going to Truman's this year and it's been by far the best haircut experience I've had living in NYC for the last 8 years. Eleni is fantastic at her craft and an all-around wonderful person to be around. She goes above and beyond each time to remember how I like my hair cut, makes great suggestions on what to change, and always makes sure I leave happy. This place is top notch end to end. If you walk in stressed you'll walk out stress free. I came to my appointment early and was warmly greeted upon entering. I had a seat in the comfortable chairs of the waiting area and was offered a beverage. It was a calm environment.
