Customer Reviews
We had a wonderful experience at Tribeca Barbershop with my 2.5-year-old son. Cutting a toddler’s hair is no easy task, but Gabriel was incredibly patient, kind, and sweet throughout the entire process. He did a phenomenal job and gave my son a fantastic haircut. Afterward, Gabriel took the extra time to carefully remove all the hair from my son’s clothes and even gave him a couple of lollipops, which was such a thoughtful touch. It’s been surprisingly difficult to find a great place for toddler haircuts in the city, but we’ve finally found one we trust. We will absolutely be coming back!
Gabriel delivers exactly what a barbershop should aspire to but with a rare, old-world sensibility that’s increasingly hard to find. His professionalism is evident from the moment you sit in the chair: attentive, precise, and clearly proud of his craft. Beyond the haircut, he’s a genuinely great conversationalist engaging without being intrusive, thoughtful without being rehearsed. What truly sets Gabriel apart is that he brings traditional values of service, respect, and craftsmanship into a contemporary setting. It’s not rushed, it’s not transactional it’s an experience. You leave not just looking better, but feeling like you were looked after properly. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates quality, consistency, and authenticity.
Went in today for a haircut - asked for a fade. They refused and said they aren’t very good at fades. Asked for a buzz cut and a shape up on the beard - both terrible. I look absolutely no different to how I did when I arrived then they charged me $70 despite having done nothing. I’ve just moved to NYC and was looking for a regular barber but this was a terrible experience.
Gabriel has phenomenal attention to detail and clearly does his best to ensure everyone has a great experience.
Tribeca Barbershop is close to where I work, and Gabriel was super nice, haircut came out very good. I will be back here again!
