Jae is very talented. I cut my locs off and saw her work on IG. I didn’t know what I wanted since this was my first professional cut she took all the guesswork out and gave me just what I needed. Now I’m a repeat client. You get a true barbershop experience here: conversations and good music. I repeat Jae is a gem. Love her work.

Last week I was here to get my matted locs detoxed and combed out. I’ve been growing them for 2yrs without the best care, just ignorance on my part. I found Vee on IG & she understood my situation, had compassion, empathy, patience the entire time. It took 3 days to complete and Vee never once complained about how long of a task this ended up being. She stayed positive and just kept saying, “don’t worry, imma take care of you!” That was so comforting because in 2yrs my hair had grown from the top of my shoulders (a bob) to just past the middle of my shoulders! I wanted to retain my length so badly but I was realistic that I wouldn’t be able to hold on to it all. Vee eased my mind each time I was nervous about what length I’d end up with. I’d been in the hair care business 14 years and I just don’t have the time to do hair these days so my fiancé reached out to this very rude, uneducated “loctician” very mediocre communication skills. This woman did not listen at all to the services requested and had no idea what we were there for. This was a rescheduled appointment because she booked original appt on her off day. She acted as if we were an inconvenience. Very disgusting behavior. She does a good job styling but had no knowledge of overall health of locs. She was just spewing out wrong information. Do better.

I've been looking around for places to get my haircut because I moved from Trenton and only trust one barber. I decided to give this shop a chance. This barber shop gave me the best fade and haircut I've ever got. Definitely will be back every month for a shape up. If anyone is hesitant about trusting a barber this is the place to trust. I got my haircut by Jae and Jae did an awesome job.
