Top Nails(Scarsdale)

I have been coming to Top Nails for the last 6 months and never had any issues, but I will not be coming back after my experience last night. My sister and I came in to have our gel pedicures done. We've always gotten gel pedicures and they always cost $48. When we sat down for our appointment, I was handed a piece of paper and asked to choose which pedicure I wanted with options #1-#5, prices increasing with the numbers. I said I wanted the most basic pedicure, which I guessed was option #1, the "spa pedicure." Since it was $45 and that's what I typically pay, I didn't think twice. This time I was getting chrome, which I knew would be a $15 upcharge, so I expected my total to be $60. This is my go-to spot for nails! The salon is always spotless, and the staff are skilled at creating the latest trendy designs. They take their time with each service and really prioritize the health of your nails, which I appreciate just as much as how beautiful they make them look.

I’m disappointed after spending $35 on a pedicure after my own salon was booked. I’m a single mom and I don’t have a lot of money so these things really bother me. The tiny simple callus on one of my feet was not buffed out. I am not one of those people who has calluses because I take extremely good care of my feet, but this salon like so many others rushes through and they want you to buy their callus remover or they want you to do a $50 “spa” Pedicure. My regular salon takes their time and makes your feet look smooth and amazing, which is what we’re paying for! I went home and buffed that area myself in 10 seconds. You don’t do a job like that and ask people for the pedicure price and the tip. Also, the Massage on either leg was only placing moisturizer on - no massage. I will never c

Not sure why they have 5 stars. I got a manicure and pedicure and both are not great. Nails are uneven and not filed straight and toes are not best polish job. And dead skin left on fingers and toes. They do t clean up around your nails.
