I had a great experience at Tomato Nail Salon. The salon is clean, the staff is friendly, and they really take their time to make sure everything looks perfect. I loved how my nails turned out and will definitely be coming back!

Usually I go to Tomato Nail salon 2 but today I tried Tomato 1 with friends and had a terrible experience. Anna did my nails and I got a very simple and basic design yet I was in the chair for almost 2 hours and my nails dont even look good. Jenny had done my friends nails and left them looking messy, polish all over her fingers, and couldn't even neatly paint on the letter G. She was rude when she asked her to fix it and lacked skill so much she had to sit her with another person. Anna cut my fingers everywhere and again was RUDE. They told us we could come in at 3:15 yet I didn't sit till 3:30 and my friend till almost 4. Tomato Nails 2 is much better with way better service and skill. Do not go to tomato one unless you sit with Coco or want to hate your nails.

This is one of THE best nail salons on Staten Island. The prices are pretty cheap, and most of the nail techs are really good at styling and designing nails. I went to Iris for my first time and got gel on my natural nails with gems, and gel is only around $30 and lasts very long. Compared to other nail salons, these gems DO NOT fall off!! I’ve banged my nails multiple times and they have still managed to stay in great shape. The only downside to this nail salon is how unorganized they are when it comes to walk-ins and appointments. Other than that and the long wait, this nail salon is definitely worth your money.
