Tips 2 Toes Nail and Spa

I’ve tried a bunch of nail salons across the suburbs, and Tips 2 Toes is my absolute favorite by FAR! Young is the kindest person I’ve ever met and always takes the time to check in with her customers and remembers the stories they tell her. Service is amazing and you can tell that so much care goes into each manicure or pedicure they provide. The salon is cozy and clean, and tools are always sterilized and fresh. Every time I go to Tips 2 Toes, I feel so taken care of and so much happier when I leave! I truly look forward to my nail appointments here, especially because it means I get to catch up with Young, who is the best! I cannot recommend Tips 2 Toes enough! ❤️

I had an appointment no one was there so the owner did my manicure and pedicure and she used unsanitized tools on me. She did a bad job on my cuticles and a very bad job of putting my polish on. She also tried to use an exfoliating pad on me that had been used on others. I left, came home and sanitized my feet and hands with ALCOHOL. Tuesday morning I finally took my polish off because it was so bad AND I had to redo my cuticles. a very yucky, disgusting place. DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON. .v

I decided to get my nails done on friday. I called to ask for availablilty and they did have it and was asked to go on right away. So i went in and i said "trust the process" she was done and my nails ended up looking like this. I was okay with it because they had already closed and i was the last person there. After i took a really good look at them and they were bumby and really uneven as shown in the pictures. I myself do nails and this is not quality FOR $65!! I went back on saturday she tried fixing them but still ended up looking the same. Sorry but i will never be going back there. The last picture is what i asked for.

I’m currently here on business for work, and was lookinh for a quick stop to get a pedicure and fill in. When I initially came in she looked at my nails and said they do their nails different here in Chicago and prices are different, which is understandable. I got the basic pedicure (nothing extra just basic). My nails are my natural nails, so back home where I go my tec did the acrylic overlay white polish, again over my natural nails. All i needed was a fill-in and for her to build my nail with thr acrylic, she thrn claimed that they dont do that, moving right along, i asked her i said you dont shape the nail or nothing…. She gone say well no because we do something different ma’am if im telling you and asking you… follow through especially if im paying for my own nails.. so when it was

I would never go to this place again. First of all, when taking off my old set she was drilling too much and burning my nails. While filing she was hurting me and when I made it clear that I was in pain she didn’t even apologize. Not once. My nails are all different lengths And they’re all bumpy. They’re also all different shapes of course. I asked for no chip gel and she ended up doing acrylic dip?? Which caused my nails to come up to $68. She also filed more after finishing the dip, so the side of every single nail has nothing on it. She also ended up leaving some cuts on my fingers from her filing. If negative stars were possible that 100% is what I would be giving right now. Don’t waste your money on this place.
