This is a great place for a maintenance cut in between haircut appointments. Plus you get two washes. Can’t beat that. But if you’re very specific about your look or desire a high level of attention to detail… then this may not be the place for you. Since it’s 30 mins per session…with two washes. Your haircut itself may not get the full time it needs or the time needed to achieve the look you want. The way you want it. Otherwise nice people, prices are in line with most salons. And they have great smelling vegan hair products from Tiki Taka.

You must try Tina Nicole‘s studio. If for no other reason, she had my hair rinsed after cutting to eliminate all the small hairs. That is a small touch for a men’s haircut that makes all the difference in the world. If you are looking for someone who knows men’s hair and specializes in only this, I recommend her Studio. I was looking for a change: she listened to what was important to me, and then gave me her recommendation, which actually went in a different direction. And, she explained why. Being someone with longer hair, and wanting to keep a clean longer look, it was always a hassle getting haircuts at barbershops. I was recommended Tina and she has done an amazing job at keeping my overall look while cleaning it up well. Tina is great at what she does, is warm/welcoming and the salon is modern with a good vibe. Highly recommend!

A great men’s salon near grand central. During COVID , I used a local shop in Old Greenwich. I forgot how much I missed the professional men’s salon experience I received from at Danny at SPIFF for a decade. Tina worked with Danny at John Allan’s and maintains that great tradition. It is very relaxing for a late afternoon haircut and a drink.
