Times Barber Shop

This is “our” barber shop. Like Cheers, it’s nice to go where everybody knows your name, and after months and years of my spouse and me coming, Times is 100% that vibe. Here’s a rundown of the folks we’re on a first-name basis with. It’s a decades-old family business, and the owner Robert sets the tone for courtesy and professionalism. He’s a class act! James is always at the ready with a friendly welcome ~ and you can tell it’s genuine. Rick has the gift of gab and can keep you company discussing whatever interests you while he cuts your hair. Arthur and Michael are my usual suspects for a fantastic fade. (Art did my hair today- see pic), and Michael cut my hair before my wedding day. Christina (my spouse’s fave) wins the award for most versatile across all categories. And Mr. Leon

I came in today totally in a dire need haircut status and Art saved the day. He was available, ready to go, and had the best attitude. He clearly knows what he’s doing and he definitely earned a long-time customer today. Just have to prove it to him now! Art, thanks again! Since moving to Houston about a year ago, I got my haircut at three other places before I tried Times Barber Shop. Times was hands-down the best. I wish I found it sooner. It’s going to be my go-to barbershop now. I was extremely pleased with the way my barber, James, cut my hair. I arrived at 9:30 am on a Saturday, and there were already five people ahead of me. I received a warm greeting and was given an estimate of my wait — about 30 minutes. I was invited to have a seat at one of the empty barber chairs. About a half hour later, a couple more barbers arrived, and it was my turn to get a haircut. The shop is clean and professional — a traditional place. I was new to Houston, went for a haircut today. such a warm welcome, lovely people and a perfect haircut. would recommend.
