A regular pedicure is $19 before tip, a very reasonable price in Chelsea. It's not the most luxurious nail salon but it's clean. Considering the price, Alex did a good job with the pedicure.
Not for eyelash extensions - the lashes were placed on my eyelid! They’re not supposed to even be touching my eyelids. You can see the bottom of the lashes clearly. I asked for natural looking lashes 😫 They didn’t have a wait and could take me right away though. Maybe that should have been a giveaway. There was a lash on the end that was just wonky from the start. It was attached to multiple lashes, the extension is only supposed to sit on one single lash because every lash grows at different speeds… I ripped that one off right when I got home This is not work I’d expect from a professional. She spent about 1hr on it. I paid $100! The lashes are so close to my lids that they painfully stab my skin :( Hoping they’ll come off ASAP.
⸻ I was really disappointed with this salon. The service was expensive, but the results didn’t last at all. Within just a few days, the work had completely come off. When I returned, they told me they couldn’t redo it. I understand I came back a bit later since I’m not often in the area, but the staff’s attitude was extremely rude and unhelpful. Definitely not what I expected for the price.
I'm so happy I found this place! No idea why the previous reviews are so negative - you get what you pay for! $24 for a mani/pedi inc tax & tip is the best deal I've seen in my life so far! Beats cheap TX even! For the price, this place is clean, welcoming and has everything any other nail salon does, and more. The restroom is spacious & super clean, the massage rooms looked lovely, the utensils used also looked very clean. The staff were all very nice and polite with me, although they did do the usual sales spiel of trying to convince me to spend more on massages, foot treatments, quick dry nail polish etc... But they weren't forceful & easily accepted me declining each time. They answered the phone within a couple of rings too. Sure, there were a few things I had to deal with like making
Not sanitary. Did an awful job and got gel polish all over my bare skin. Charged $5 to cut my nails. Nails are not even a consistent shape. Shocked they're still in business.
