I have been going here for four years now. I started going here when I went to Columbia and have continued since I’ve moved throughout the city. The nicest couple in the world runs this place. They are so kind to me and are genuinely very sweet people, but also extremely talented. I have extremely flat hair and I wanted a wave perm. I have been getting a wave perm every four months for the last 3 years and every time it is perfect. They know exactly what to do and exactly how to cut it with my head shape. I have never felt so confident as I do when I walk out of this place with a fresh cut. I cannot recommend them more. GET YOUR HAIR CUT HERE! Everyone I meet thinks my hair is naturally curly because of how perfect the haircut looks.

Absolutely love this place - Javier and Elena are the sweetest couple in the UWS. I’d been bouncing between places the past few years because I have wavy/curly hair and struggled to find a consistent option. But the past 6 months, I’ve only been going to Javier for a haircut, and every visit is a great experience. Would highly recommend the place! Probably the best option in the area.

I’m a guy with medium-long length hair and it’s hard to find someone who knows how to cut it. Javier did a great job, definitely the best haircut I’ve gotten in manhattan. Javier and Elena were also kind and fun to speak with. I was offered coffee and tea as well and was overall just a pleasant experience

I love coming to visit with Javier and Elena. Javier is a true artist when it comes to hair and I can't wait to come and get it cut again. I went last time in January and it has been getting longer and longer during quarantine, but it still looks good. That's the true sign of a good stylist to me. The salon itself is beautifully designed and I am always offered an espresso when I come in. I have come while my wife was getting her hair done just to chat and have good conversation. Javier and Elena, I hope you are doing well and I can't wait to come back when business is open again!
