The owner creates such a friendly environment for her clients to feel comfortable and safe to have their work done! Being a business owner while also working the floor is no easy task. Booking with Skylar has always been met with a warm smile to brighten your day!

I have been a loyal client of Skylars for over 16 years, following her through each location—Sableux Salon, Salon Concepts, and The Studio Sky Salon. She consistently does a phenomenal job, and I am always very happy with both my cuts and color. I especially appreciate how accommodating she is while managing the demands of running her own business. I would also like to note that her booking page provides full transparency regarding time management and the possibility of appointments occasionally running behind. She does her best to accommodate everyone while maintaining a high level of service, which I truly respect and appreciate.

I had an appointment that I booked 2 weeks in advance. I arranged to get out of work early on a Friday to be able to make the 5:45 appointment. Less than an hour before my appointment, Skylar texted me and asked if I would just come in at 6:15 or 6:30. No apology for the inconvenience, no empathy, no explanation (personal emergency? current appointment going over?) I still wanted her to do a good job, so I was willing to just comply. But when I asked, "should I reschedule this? I don't want to add something extra to the end of your day." She responded with "It's up to you." I didn't feel like she really cared either way. An appropriate response would be something like "I would still be happy to do your hair" or "It's no problem, I appreciate you being flexible" or "I would be happy to resc

Had a wonderful time at Studio Sky. The salon had a very welcoming feel and cool vibe to it. The hairdresser who cut my hair took her time and listened to what I wanted to achieve with my hair. She made sure every hair was perfect. After leaving I felt very good about my hair cut and had several complements about my hair. The salon left me a very pleasant experience one that will keep me coming back.

The owner is extremely unprofessional and clearly doesn’t care about their clients. There was no effort to address concerns or provide proper service. A business should treat customers with respect and professionalism, but unfortunately that was completely lacking here. Very disappointing and not what you expect when you support a local business. Definitely not the kind of business attitude people want to deal with
