The Strand Salon

I usually never write reviews, but reviews is how I found this place, and I wanted to share my experience! My sister and I were looking for balayage since the Covid gray hairs were out of control. The Strand is very clean and they have a sanitizing tube that disinfects you and checks your temperature before you walk in. I had Deska do my color and Alma did my cut. Really came out so beautiful and natural! Definitely recommend!!!

I have been looking for a hair salon that would meet my expectations on what I have been looking to do for my hair. Of course I get very nervous because I don't trust my hair with anyone. It happen to be that I bumped into The Strand Salon during my research and I decided to give them a try. I live in New York City, and I did not mind traveling to NJ. My experience was beyond what I expected, the staff are very sweet, nice and attentive, and most importantly during these times we are all facing, they have a sanitation tunnel that I haven't seen in any other salon, where you get sanitized and they double check your temperature. I highly recommend the Strand Salon. Everyone is super talented and extremely knowledgeable. The stylists take the time to explain step by step what their process is and what is best for whatever it is you want to achieve. The stylists are also very cognizant of your time, patient and are extremely accommodating. You really feel as if you are are a part of the salon family. I have been a patron of the salon for about 6 months and I have had the best experiences each and every single time I go.

I just want to share my experience at The Strand Salon with Alma, she is amazing and always is giving me the most outstanding experience! I've gone to her a few times and the outcome is always beautiful. I highly recommend going to her. She is one of the best hairstylists I've been to.

I went to the Strand Salon looking for someone to fix my hair. I had gotten highlights and they came out extremely streaky and just not what I had asked for. A friend of mine, told me about the Strand Salon and suggested I go to Alma. Let me tell you, she did such an incredibly job. I sent her pictures prior to my appointment and she knew exactly what I needed. She blended my hair and made the color absolutely beautiful! I'm so glad I came here. If you ever want highlights/balayage Alma is my girl! Thanks Alma!
