Second visit with Ashley today and again, was such a wonderful experience! Even brought my daughter along. She did an amazing job on both of us. Her technique, and attention to detail is great. Such a sweet, & friendly young woman. She knew exactly what I needed and executed it perfectly. Love our conversations and enjoy the atmosphere. She is brilliant 😀

After seeing my hair and/or feeling my scalp, I have been asked by more than one person to provide a review of my experience. I went to The Strand to Dottie Thornley for numerous haircuts prior to this experience. I enjoyed chatting with her, and I felt that she always did a nice job of cutting my hair. I have short, fine hair styled in a pixie cut. I wanted to try something new and asked about extensions. I admitted that I knew nothing about them, and asked her opinion if a pixie cut to a bob was possible. I showed her a picture, and she said - sure. No problem. I was charged $922.83. This included the hair, labor, hair cut and style, bottles of shampoo and conditioner, a used hair brush, gratuity and extra toner that she told me to apply to my roots of my hair for 10 minutes at home b

Salon is Beautiful and Clean ! I will continue to travel 2 1/2 round trip to see Dotti ! Service is amazing ! I have had highlights and cut at many places over the years . Dotti is by far the BEST! Will never use another Salon or stylist.

I recently had a terrific hair cut there. As a first timer, I came in with shaggy, long, shapeless hair, and left with exactly what I wanted -- plus looking and feeling good. Beautiful salon and friendly people. Recommend.

I have been coming to Dottie for over 12 years. No matter where her shop is, I follow. She is an outstanding colorist with years of experience in all facets that a professional hair stylist should have. Kudos to Dottie!
