The Spa at Newport Marriott

Went to the Spa again for a deep tissue massage, Carol was not on today, but Katherine was and she was amazing! Just what I needed and they take care of the locals. Easy parking in Winter too! I'll be back. So clean and updated.

We come here every year and enjoy many services and expect to be greeted with kindness and have good treatments that is comparable to the price. This time it felt rushed and like a transaction. The stone massage had barely any hand touch. The soap in the bathroom is dispenser and not classy. When asked to have bottled water as their water has flavored drops ( which they sell in the hallway) in them, they expressed they don’t have any. Overall we will be considering a new place next year.

Absolutely a very nice spa. Definitely the facility needs a facelift. They have many treatment rooms. I come every year with 20 of my buddies and they always fit everybody in for a service. During spa month they offer services at $150. They have a hot jacuzzi / cold plunge / dry and wet sauna. The staff is super accommodating. Chris the locker room attendant is great.

The spa here is wonderful. We loved the staff, the ambience, and the full experience. The booking process was quick and easy. Checking in and getting settled went smoothly. There was a clean changing and waiting area. The staff is friendly and we had no complaints. Would definitely go back when in the area. Now for my standard comments. Common areas are kept clean and accessible. Private massage rooms are clean, quiet, and peaceful.

To start; I am very picky about massages, probably because I myself am trained in bodywork! My fiancé and I were in Newport for a romantic 2 night getaway for Valentine’s Day and he decided to treat me! I really needed it because I had thrown my back out getting back into boxing. I was so impressed- from the moment I arrived, to the zen waiting room, the robs, tea, and ambient music! Catherine literally was amazing! I normally opt for longer sessions, but she got a lot done in an hour and really listened to what my body needed more of. I really recommend her if you can get her! She did a top notch job.
