The Spa at Mirror Lake Inn

Beautiful place to relax and unwind. The amenities are quant but feel luxurious. It was a bit louder and more populated than I would have liked, but the staff was exquisite. I ordered a delicious lunch in from the cottage on the property, and it was conveniently brought right to me. My massage was wonderful and priced perfectly. I wish they had a sauna available as well as the steam room and hot tub, but overall, it made for a nice afternoon.

Terrible experience. #1 We were 5 minutes late and they did 35 minutes instead of 50 minutes, effectively stealing from us. #2 we were being rushed out of there because they close at four, There was no heads up that our 2:45 PM appointment would leave us little to no time with the amenities. Don’t make later appointments if it means you need to rush out your guests. #3 The place was super outdated and gross, mold in the steam room, etc #4 The masseuse himself was very talented but the environment was bottom of the barrel. One of the worst massage experiences I have ever had, which is a shame because the masseuse gave a great massage that I couldn’t enjoy given the aforementioned issues.

I will preface by saying the inn itself was lovely. The spa was nice enough despite the moldy laundry basket (pictured), but I had a prenatal massage that was so bad it left me in tears. I have never paid so much money to have lotion softly rubbed on me. There was zero pressure despite me asking for more multiple times. Before the session even started, the therapist said he wouldn’t meet my sole request to rub my feet due to there being “a lot of energy in the feet”. I told them I get weekly foot massages and my doctor had said it’s perfectly safe. It takes about a 2 second google search to determine that foot massage being off limits during pregnancy is wildly inaccurate info. Still, I would have been fine if the rest of the massage was even decent.

The spa at mirror lake is truly a one-of-kind place. I started coming here 13 years ago as a local and now I live 5 hours away and make sure to incorporate a spa day into my visits back. I have been to many other spas worldwide and nothing compares! All the therapists are trained to give consistent and excellent services. They listen to your needs and adjust accordingly and are always friendly and helpful. Desk staff is always accommodating and even set up lunch for my husband and I for our anniversary after our massages! Maple sugar body scrub was a recent try of mine and I highly recommend!

I’ve had several spa treatments here and they are on the top of the list of resort spas!! Katie is one heck of a massage therapist. Therapists are wonderful and helpful. The sanctuary is lovely and relaxing. Staff always helpful. Highly recommend booking a treatment and experiencing all MLI has to offer!!
