The Shoppe

I cannot recommend The Shop in Baton Rouge enough! I called literally last minute on a Friday right before Valentine’s Day and Mardi Gras (which is one of the busiest times), and Jerry still found a way to squeeze my baby in for a haircut for his birthday. That alone meant so much to me. Not only did he make it happen, but the haircut came out AMAZING. My baby looked so sharp and was feeling himself after he left the chair. You can tell Jerry really takes pride in his work and cares about the people who come into his shop. The whole experience was professional, welcoming, and just all around great energy. Finding a barber who is skilled, reliable, and willing to help you out in a pinch is priceless. Jerry definitely gained a permanent client. We’ll absolutely be back!

While driving home from New Orleans to Texas so I could walk my daughter onto the field during homecoming court, I knew i had to get my haircut and it was last minute. I Googled local barbers in my current location and The Shoppe was one that came up. I seen it had 5 stars and knew it had to be the one. I swung in and was taken care of. I let him know what the occasion was and he made sure he cleaned me up to where my daughter would appreciate it. I am glad I chose The Shoppe and stopped in to get groomed for the special occasion. As crazy as it sounds, I think the gentleman should honestly be more competitive with his pricing. He was much cheaper than I anticipated. So, I left him a nice tip to make up the difference. Got an old school bald fade and it's refreshing to find an old school barbershop atmosphere with a great cut to match. First time meeting Jay but felt like I've known him forever. Great conversation and good vibes. Quick and efficient walk-ins welcomed and appointments. Definitely will be back.

My Son came in from Oklahoma and needed to get his haircut. We found this place close by and I think the guy’s name was Jerry he did an excellent job had us in and out in 15 minutes and his edge up was perfect. My son absolutely loved it.

Really enjoyed my experience here at The Shoppe! Jay was phenomenal. He was personable. Great to talk to and very friendly. He was very professional, he actually used scissors!! Thank God. Sometimes barbers just use the clippers and never shape up my hair the right way but Jay was a wizard with the scissors and clippers. Great fade, he listened to what I wanted to a T! I'll be back! Highly recommend! 5 Stars!!!
