Wonderful experience. Donald's knowledge of men's hair is a breathe of fresh air. He also has a vast knowledge of male hair enhancements which I use FAITHFULLY. I've been wanting to cut my beard off for 3 years now. But, EVERYTIME I leave his chair I'm inspired to keep it a liiiiiittle bit longer. I can't lie I've had females comment on my beard and hair because of his skills.

My first visit with Donald Buckles was amazing. I'm usually a little nervous with male barbers cutting my hair but he put me right at ease. He really listen to what I wanted. He went beyond any other barber. He put product in my hair and sponged it to really try and get the same look as picture he asked me to send him....conversation was light, he was personable but not too personable, and very courteous. Also my first time having my brows done by a male and with the razor. But after the cut I was confident, shape was precise and clean. The location is great, the setup is great, and the service was prompt....... Thanks DB, I love my TWA!!!

Donald Buckles is the best barber in BR hands down. I went to him for the first time in 2012 when I moved to BR to attend LSU and have yet to find a better barber. He can do any cut, tapers are always on point, never pushes your line or mask inconsistencies w/ fiber. Also, though I’m not big into design, he excels at that too. I’ll also add that he’s the only barber I’ve been to that doesn’t touch your hairline with clippers, straight razors your entire lining (w/ exception to neck to fight razor bumps). During college I recommended all my friends to him and they all became loyal customers. We’ve all graduated, but we still reminisce in the group message about those Donald buckles cuts.
