The Shop Makerspace at Arlington Public Library

The staff at The Shop are incredibly helpful and supportive. When my button making project went from fun to frustrating, the staff quickly helped me problem solve and get back on track! It's a great community of makers with high quality resources.

Truly an invaluable resource with the kindest, patient, most knowledgeable staff! The Shop holds classes to teach various skills and how to use equipment but you can also drop in during open hours and the staff is always ready to answer questions and provide support as you learn. With just a library card I am able to use the sewing machines, serger, and vinyl cutter when I bring my materials but they also have scraps if you are learning!

What an incredible community resource. The Shop is a wonderful space equipped with lots of tools and equipment to get started with most DIY projects. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and willing to help lend a hand when needed. I would definitely recommend The Shop to anyone living in the Arlington area.

incredible space for locals! they have so many tools available. the equipment for audio/video digitization is awesome. I wish the hours were a little more flexible, it’s hard to get there as someone who works a 9-5.
