The Sharpened Flint Barbershop & Shave Parlor

A couple months ago I would have rated this establishment as a 4/5 star. It is a cool and clean set up and the previous two haircuts were done well. My son just had a haircut done and it is terrible. It was supposed to be a trim and he told the barber “just above his eyebrows” but it is cut inches above his eyebrows and done very poorly with obvious straight lines at two different lengths. The lengths cannot be trimmed up to look less bowl-like and a smoother faded trim because of how short the initial cut was done. Sorry to say we won’t be going back.

Have been driving past this spot for the past couple months since it opened. Finally decided to give it a shot to get cleaned up for the holidays and wow! What an awesome operation Anthony has going here. First and foremost I got a great cut. Anthony really took his time, I did not feel rushed in and out of the chair. It was a very relaxing atmosphere. Nothing says Christmas like a glass of whiskey with your haircut and shave. Speaking of shave, I can’t remember the last time a barber actually used a straight razor on me! It’s nice to have a real barbershop right in Dansville. I have already booked my next appointment. I guess I’m a regular now!

Anthony is a true master of his craft. You wouldn't let some schmoe off the street rewire your house. Why would you let some shmoe of the street touch the hair on your head that makes up your appearance? That's why you trust a master like Anthony to take away that guesswork and give you confidence in your decision. The most skilled barber I've ever had cut my hair. Can't say enough about this guy. The only complaint I have is that I didn't find out about this shop sooner! Quit playing luck of the draw with all these big brand barber shops and come get master quality. Unless you like mediocre haircuts, then feel free to ask your mom to get the clippers out instead. Get that hot shave for $20 extra! Bet you never knew you could have an experience similar to that of a relaxing spa at a barbe

I've found my new barber! Anthony did an awesome job on my hair and he's a great dude. The atmosphere in the shop is very relaxed, with classic barber shop vibes. He is extremely skilled and knowledgeable. Great vibes, great conversation, and couldn't be happier with the finished product. Will definitely be back soon!

Just what we needed in dansville. A real barber that takes his time and cares about his work. Very pleased with the results of my haircut and beard trim even the wife loved it and considering she doesn't really like the beard that is something will definitely be back
